As she acquires one skill she is then able to confidently move on to another at her own rate and speed.

About Us
Dedicated Educator
I am teacher and administrator of Piedmont Montessori. As a credited AMI Montessori Primary Teacher I have eight years of preschool classroom experience.
Early on, I studied attachment at UC Berkeley and the University of Denver, then obtained Montessori credentials in 2010-2011. I have enjoyed over 20 years’ teaching experience with infants, toddlers and preschool-aged children.
Experience
These years in child development, included research of 200 infants at UC Berkeley and coding tapes of children to gain reliable observation skills, special needs study and instruction, and identification of developmental progress. I believe it is essential to:
- Develop a positive relationship and connect with each child
- Facilitate concentration
- Support families
- Follow the child's interests
- Educate the whole child with emphasis on positive relationships and pro-social behavior.
